The Optimus Prime figure features an extremely poseable core body with numerous interchangeable parts that when attached form either a transformable proto-form (with stand) or the transforming Autobot Leader Optimus Prime.
The common misconception is that this figure is mostly for "displaying" in one of it's numerous modes. Not true, this does fully transform in both vehicle and Proto form mode.
It's pretty ingenious, once you choose which set you'd like to attach, you can transform him without removing any parts throughout the transformation process.
